I love my me-times!
Earlier today, during my happy fiesta dinner with Christine Liwag, we talked about how we spoil ourselves (to death) by spending a little over-the-budget--lalo na when we weren't really having a great day (or week). Although resorting to retail therapy, or fine dining, or catching that current silverscreen offering are all also my thing - iba talaga when I visit The Spa. So far for me this is THE go-to place when I want to reward myself, or para ma-feel good and relax lang! :D
I visited The Spa Eastwood (2F, inside Richmonde Hotel) a few days ago for one of these pamper days! It was my first time there, and sobrang sucha delight lang to be welcomed by a very clean and beautiful Greek interior design:
Hello to the receptionist who welcomed me, and let me relax muna sa lobby while they prepared my room (I chose the one with jacuzzi versus the sauna). Other available rooms in The Spa are the Deluxe Room, Executive Room, Premiere Suite / Villa, and the Loft. (view here for photos and descriptions)
A few minutes later, their attendant lead me to one of these doors:
I walked through this dim-lighted corridor, and was lead to my room, na asa pinaka dulo (perfect!)
Went to their common restroom first before heading to my private room for my treatments. I love that everything's super OC-neat and complete and mabango!
Still very-Greek, I got the Leros room:
Welcome home, baby! Hahaha, I swear nagsalita yung bathtub! ;p
Double-doors with hooks and hangers for my clothes, small cabinet (which they called my locker) for my bags and valuables:
More towels, magazines, clock, and drinks... All of which I took advantage muna while they gave me around 30 minutes of jacuzzi time!
Ready! When you're done with the jacuzzi, or you need an attendant to assist you, they have this small lighted button (it's so hard to miss it) just near the mirror which you can press to alert the staff of your needs. In short di na kelangan lumabas in your robes para lang tumawag ng tao, hehe.
Had a relaxing bubble bath muna:
My massage bed, pillows, robe, towels, and rubber slippers! Not in photo, they also provided a disposable underwear. Everything's here na that you can randomly visit The Spa unprepared! And I swear, eto na ata ang comfiest massage bed and pillow... Hindi awkward yung head-rest especially during my massage and body scrub - yung tipong nakakahinga ka parin comfortably! ;p
I had Fountain of Youth Package Treatment which is composed of of Toning Bamboo Revival which is composed of a body scrub (my favorite), body wrap, and a massage using bamboo stalks, and The Spa Signature Age Defense Treatment Facial), the attendant offered me a hot cup of ginger tea (sarap!) and water:
Before, I already tried (and LOVED!) The Spa's Here Comes the Bride package, but this time naman I tried the Fountain of Youth, which is a masterful anti-ageing combination of facial and scrub with massage available at the tranquil setting of The Spa Wellness. The result after the treatment is nothing short of a refreshed skin, youthful glow and renewed spirit. The Spa Fountain of Youth Package includes The Spa signature Age Defense Treatment (facial) and Toning Bamboo Revival (scrub and massage). I felt super rejuvenated and fresh after! Ang sarap, with the supple skin and clear face-- feeling baby uli! ;p
