I've heard all sorts of thing when it comes to Korean theme parks! This got me super excited for our Day 4, which we spent the whole day in the famous Everland Resort.

To get there: Yongin Everline - Giheung Stn. (GANGNAM UNIV direction) alight at Jeondae Everland. Ride Shuttle going to Everland entrance. (approx 2+ hours)
On the way, I saw that the streets were lined with cherry blossom trees. I enjoyed watching the scene from our train's back window.
I love Spring, hope to make this a yearly travel tradition!

To me, Everland Resort is an interesting, curious place. While the group headed inside, we realized that the place does not represent any popular character or movie (unlike Disney or Universal). They only have animals, nameless characters, and grand flora and lights displays. I'll describe them as a mish-mash of all things good. It's a whole new ballgame!
Since we traveled for 2 hours, we came just in time for lunch. We went inside the first restaurant that we saw. Again, no famous characters, but a beautiful Victorian interiors welcomed us:
We shared 2 pasta dishes, and a "garden" pizza with real flowers. It's good!
Then we started to walk again...
I like that Everland is huge, but not crowded. They have attractions for both kids and adults. They also have souvenir shops here and there (where I bought my cat's ears headband), plus flower gardens that are really photogenic!

You are also allowed to touch some of these animals. Everland is like going to a zoo and a theme park with just one entrance fee!

We also checked out the cute neighborhood at the Alpine Village, and bought an icecream cone:
Then, we checked out the whole of Everland by riding this short cable car:

We strolled around and discovered Everland's wackiest and scariest rides: Double Rock Spin and Let's Twist!

I had churros and coffee to calm myself before we pushed for our Everland "finale":
Of course, we can't miss the T-Express, Everland's main roller coaster attraction that is made of WOOD!

Of course, lines were long for this, so medyo nawala yung momentum, haha! It was already dark (and cold!) when we're finally close to our turn.

They have open cabinets for those who are riding the roller coaster, so I left my whole bag to be safe! No cameras / documentations, mahirap na! :p
The ride was fun, long, and cold! Hahaha. My sweaty palms were holding on tightly at the railings, and all I saw were series of wooden planks during the downhill part of the ride. The best part was the millisecond moment when we reached the peak of T-Express. I was super scared, had a view of the whole Everland, so I kept my eyes open!
At the end of the ride, when I saw our photo, parang mas relaxed pa si Paul kesa sakin! Haha! E ako yung pa-brave! Lol. I enjoyed this very much, a once-in-a-lifetime and one-for-the-books experience! Bucketlist level!
We jokingly captioned this photo with: "And in that moment, I swear, we were infinite."
We ended the night gathered outdoors with everyone else to watch Everland's overwhelming lights parade: The Moonlight Parade.
I was amazed by every intricate detail they put on the show. Again, I had no idea what to expect, the characters, the concept, the music were all new to me. Everything's a surprise! But I guess, like every corner and attraction at the Everland Resort, the uncertainty makes the experience even more magical.
