Korea Spring Outfits

Unlike my Japantrip, I miraculously brought a camera in Korea. I think getting a 2nd-hand camera was a good thing in disguise, it inspired me to take better pictures, and even shoot some OOTDs!

Other than the new cam, I also owe my Korea travel buddies @tracyayson and @paultheprguy for being masipag in taking my pictures, so thank you! Haha! Sharing the spring outfits I came up with for this 8-day vacation.

From my experience last year, Spring can be such a bipolar season. We came in during transition period, so we expected that it's still very cold. I packed a good variety of clothing for heavy and light layering, just to be sure.

I also brought just two pairs shoes for this trip: A pair of gray and a pair of white sneakers, both from Skechers. A week before the trip, I posted a survey on Facebook to find out what kind of shoes my friends prefer when they travel. Majority replied that they love Skechers sneakers, which I can now attest to!

My favorite is this white pair na madaling bagayan, and can endure hours of walking because of its memory foam technology.

Fitting thick coats in limited baggage space can be a challenge, so I notoriously repeated the two coats that I brought. I have the white coat and pale pink coat, since both are very "in season". My theme for this trip goes around pastels and whites - sort of to match the Pantone color of the year, and also the cherry blossoms season.

Wearing the white H&M coat, which I bought on-sale for only Php 700! Paired it with pink pants, nude skirt, and ripped jeans:

Another last-minute purchase: A pale pink coat from GoBuy.com.ph. This piece went well with whites, grays, and pinks.

I also packed other jackets and blazers, but they weren't enough to keep me warm (especially at night, when it's more windy). Every morning, we checked the Accuweather app for the day's temperature and weather, where we based our outfit for the day. Most of the days that we were in Korea, it was clear and cloudy, but we had a few drizzling nights as well.

Wearing sweater + white bomber jacket from Stradivarius during our Everland day:

Pale blue blazer, also from Stradivarius, for our DMZ tour:

During our last days, hindi na super lamig so I just wore sweaters and light jackets. Totoro teal sweater from Dongdaemun market:

Light pink jacket from Penshoppe:

While packing, I tried putting together per-day outfits to avoid overpacking, but I wasn't strict on wearing them as-is. I modified the outfit as I went along... Depends on my mood, our itinerary, and of course the temperature / weather forecast.

While most of my innerwear are from Uniqlo, I also get my stylish wardrobe essentials from Mango, which is now also available online at Zalora Philippines! They have cotton shirts, polo, trousers, sweaters, and jeans that you can use for layering. I also brought my white Skechers in Zalora, hehe!

Toss in a hat, 2 light bags (cross-body and backpack), neutral lipstick, and your preferred accessories, and you are good to go!

I only had this slim gold watch with brown strap from Veloci as my everyday accessory:

My go-to roomy leather bag during the trip, from NiQua:

You won't always see me in pastels, most especially pinks! But Spring and Korea inspired me so much that I went out of my usual color palette. I miss traveling in general, and just look-forward to Japan in June! Anong season kaya yun, and if you have tips, please do comment below! Mabuti nalang ang daming seat sales and very G na friends, hehe.
